Hey, I'm Yohan!

My name's Yohan McDonald. I created The B.R.I.D.G.E because I've lived every side of this problem.

In my twenties, I struggled with serious mental health challenges — carrying that weight alone, convinced no one would understand, that speaking up would make things worse.

I did eventually get support. But not at work. Never at work.

What if a manager had simply asked the right question? What if someone had created space for an honest conversation? How much suffering might have been prevented?

That question has driven my work ever since.

Over the past 15 years, I've:

Trained over 20,000 people in mental health awareness across the UK and internationally, including 7000+ managers

Designed and delivered manager training courses for the UK's leading mental health training providers

Spent 15 years in corporate environments — including managing my own team of five
